日米両国で建築修士号を取得後、ニューヨークにて数多くの建築及びインテリアプロジェクトの設計業務に携わる。SOM, Polshek Architects (現Ennead Architects) 等の設計部勤務を経て2010年に設計事務所 MITO architecture + design を設立。現在東京を拠点に設計、BIM導入コンサルティング業務の提供、BIMに関する講演･講習、国土交通省BIM推進会議部会２ (BLCJ) と提携しBIM確認申請サンプルモデルデータ作成とノウハウの提供等、幅広い活動を展開。

Kei Mito,  AIA

Kei Mito, AIA, is a member of the National, State and local chapters of the American Institute of Architects.

Kei has 20+ years of experience in a wide variety of architectural projects ranging from single-family residential to multi-million dollar publicly and privately-funded projects.

Prior to the formation of MITO architecture, Kei practiced at several prestigious architectural design firms in NYC including Polshek Partnership Architects (Ennead Architects), FXFOWLE and Skidmore Owings & Merrill.

Kei received her Master of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute. Kei is a licensed architect in the state of New York.

Our job is to turn your ideas and aspirations into imaginative, workable solutions – and it’s what we love to do. When you contact us, we will run through a “reality check” with you on the phone to establish the approximate size of the project to make sure we can help you. If that conversation is positive, we arrange to meet to discuss what you and any others involved (often your family) want to achieve both now, and in the future. We’ll walk around your building or plot, talk about your own ideas, and often come up with some that you may not have thought of. We’ll give you our outline thoughts on planning, design, budget and timescale, although budget and timescale can only be indicative at this stage.
